Chris and Fiona met just over 3 years ago. On their first date they met over a coffee in the morning and ended up having dinner – over a 12 hour date! They have been inseparable ever since! Chris proposed on a romantic holiday in Fiji one year later and they really enjoyed having a two year engagement to get to know one another and plan for the perfect wedding day.
They said: “We wanted our wedding day to be casual and relaxed with no formalities. For us it was all about sharing our love and celebrating with family and friends. We wouldn’t have changed anything about our wedding day. Even though it rained in the morning until we arrived at the church it stopped after the service and we managed to have all our photos taken on the foreshore of Sydney harbour. Someone was watching over us!
We have had such wonderful feedback from our guests saying how beautiful our wedding day was. We wanted to keep a theme of old worldly romance from the invitations with lace and ribbon, the beautiful sandstone church in Hunter Hill and then Banjo Patterson Cottage Restaurant for our Reception dinner. We have such wonderful memories!”
