This was written by Sanja & Jovan’s very good friend (aka Cupid):
“In life there come certain times known as “lightbulb” moments. Its when the light switches on in your head and you can see something so clearly that right away, it all makes perfect sense. This occurred to me a few years ago on my way home from watching my local football team. I was in the car with my friend Jogi (Jovan), and for some unbeknown reason we started discussing life and our future rather than the football game we had both watched.
As the conversation progressed I sensed that my mate was not only ready for a relationship, but ready to meet the love of his life. As he spoke of his needs, wants and goals, all of a sudden the lightbulb turned on. And there right in front of me her name flashed, SANJA!
I have known Sanja for many years and got to know her even better as we begun working together. She was passionate, family orientated, independent, confident, proud of her culture but also modern in her lifestyle. Then with the light still burning bright I realised that these where the same characteristics Jogi also posses.
As I started to process the opportunity it hit me, these guys would be a match made in heaven. I asked for his permission to approach her on his behalf and he obliged. I couldn’t get to work quick enough the next day to let Sanja know of my grand plan for her – a blind date. Thankfully she agreed and the rest is history.
Love doesn’t make sense. It comes from no where and sweeps you off your feet. You can be in a dark corner blindly taking your next step, but all it takes a lightbulb to pave the way….”
